Jennifer, thanks for updating us! I'm not posting that much these days now that my BA is finally finished. I totally missed the deadline to apply for grad schools due to a lot of things in my personal life, but I keep coming back here & hoping maybe Sanantons has posted something. I'm glad someone at least knows her ID to be able to look up and get an idea that she's okay. Makes me feel like I need to start linking to DF members on LinkedIn.

I *literally* just included my LinkedIn link in my siggy for that very reason. While my username is my real name, for most people, they take an anonymous identity here. It makes it hard to connect when you don't know who someone is. I have not shared Sanantone's real name because she has written repeatedly here about being anonymous, so I'm totally fine with that. But, some of you may be able to sleuth her out if you're motivated. I'm connected with many IC members, but I'm not sure how we found each other.

OML! Why does this thread exist? I appreciate the concern, but people stop posting on forums all the time. I just don't have time for social media, so I've mostly cut it off. I want to finish my dissertation by the end of this year.
By the way, I have never been a police officer and have never said that I was a police officer. Also, I don't have time to worry about Trump either. The job market is great right now outside of the Rust Belt states that refuse to move into the knowledge economy and parts of the Deep South that will always be poor. So, I'm working on making myself financially secure just in case Trump gets us into a trade war that will raise prices for American consumers. I also have to pay my fair share of taxes for that wall we're not going to be reimbursed for.
