Managerial Accounting
#1
Where would you guys recommend taking Managerial Accounting? Excelsior? TECEP? Anybody who's taken this one and has any advice? Thanks.

Greatly depends on your strength and interest on the topic. TECEP would be the fastest on time since completion is weighted on an exam. I completed the course through Straighterline and felt they did a solid job on the foundation of information needed to not just pass the exams but increase your knowledge moving forward on accounting.
PhD, Leadership, University of the Cumberlands - What Have I Done!!?!!
MBA, Healthcare Management, Western Governors University - in progress
MS, Management and Leadership, Western Governors University - 2017
BS, Business Administration, Thomas Edison State University - 2016

I did the TECEP. Between having just passed the Financial Accounting CLEP and reading the Managerial Accounting for Dummies book, I managed an 81%.

I took the TECEP today and passed with a 74%. I studied using the free Saylor Academy course. Saylor states that the course has been aligned to the exam, and in my experience it really was. I even noticed a few questions from the Saylor exam on the actual TECEP. I definitely recommend using the Saylor course if you go the TECEP route!

Has anyone taken this course through Study.com that might be able to give me some feedback? I have finished the quizzes and I'm going through the flash cards. I'm trying to decide how much longer to spend studying for this one. I'm usually not nervous about tests but for some reason I am with this one.
I'm having a hard time memorizing all of the formulas because there are so many and I keep getting them mixed up!
Does anyone have feedback on the difficulty?

I haven't taken it yet but its next up for me, so hopefully someone can provide some input. I was told that there are no flashcards for that course though. Have they recently added them?

Yeah there are 9 sets of flashcards now. I think around 150 total.

I just took the practice test and got 72%. I don't feel too great about that so I'll probably study my missed questions and then take another practice test and see how I do then. :/

If you got 100 on all of the quizzes then you'll only need 55% on the exam to pass the course. I'm sure you'll do fine with a little bit more studying. You'll have to let us know how you do!

The flashcards are a great update! Just last week there weren't any for this course. Hopefully they'll add some to the Principles of Finance course too.

In my experience I usually did worse on the practice finals then on the actual finals. Maybe because of the increased number of questions on the final??.
Not sure how many Finals you have taken from Study.com but in my opinion this is the breakdown on there finals

50% - Easy Questions
35% - Medium Questions
15% - Difficult Questions
