Just like with SL, you have to actually do a speech for the course.

Wow, never would have guessed. I took public speaking at a college and it was rough. I believe there were 6 speeches through the semester and hated every one of them. Ended up with an A, surprised me as I'm a major introvert.
Anyways, study.com is great....the course I took, I found the videos to be boooooring, but they were well written and ended up just reading them all.
Can't wait to start more courses from them.
We are all on the same side here, trying to better our lives....so let's get along and help each other out.
Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.

So, if it is 2 credits now. Will it satisfy the requirement if you get a waiver?

I don't believe anyone here has tried to send it in yet, so no way to know. If you're enrolled, you can ask them directly.

I'm not enrolled with TESU yet. I was hoping to find out before I applied.

We know that many students are using Study.com courses in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in business at Thomas Edison State University and other institutions, and we hope that the new courses in business, accounting, and finance will help users achieve this goal faster and at a reduced cost. We’ll also be updating our transfer guide with TESU in the coming weeks to include these newly recommended courses.
The full list of all our 73 ACE-recommended courses is available right here, and our listing on ACE’s National Guide is here.
We’re constantly getting new courses recommended for college credit, so keep an eye out for more courses in the coming months.
Thank you!
I noticed on the ACE site that there are some new EDU courses with ACE credit. Currently EDU 101 transfers to TESU. Do you know if EDU-103, EDU-104, and EDU-105 also transfer to TESU, and what are the equivalencies? I'd really like to use these courses as my free electives. Does anyone know if these would work? thanks a lot!

I am also waiting for the new courses to be shown on the TESU transfer list. There were a couple of courses that interested me in the new list but I am unsure if TESU will count them as General Electives or only Free Electives. Hopefully Study.com posts the updated transfer guide soon.

I'm sure they will transfer, and almost anything that's considered college-level will come in a free electives.

I'm hoping to see how many credits they'll be worth, so I'll know what to input into my degree plan.

I have a request for a new course. Study.com currently has a good amount of the required courses for the BA Psychology degree and the ones they don't have can be found for decent prices elsewhere as far as I know. All except for one course. SOS-450 Ethics in the Social Sciences has to be done through TESU at this point and that makes the BA Psych much more expensive than it could be. If Study.com could add this course to their catalog, this degree would really become an enticing option.
