Log in to the Master Account, then assign it to the Student Account.
It will automatically start the next assessment when you log back in with the Student Account.

Also, it will automatically assign a new assessment after you've completed a few more concepts in the pie. That shows up as a blue section if you're looking at the progress bar. You have to have 70% minimum in green to request it on your ACE transcript.

I started this journey in the summer of 2016.  I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.

Do it again, make sure you get the right course name in ACE. I had to do one of mine twice too IIRC. If it happens again, contact ALEKS.

Was that the initial assessment that you have 70? Or was it the total completed of the pie after the initial assessment and some topics completed?

You don't necessarily have to do it again, you must make sure you have the right name and also have completed a final assessment at 70%.
You can't just do the assessment and get the credit by completing more topics within the course without another assessment.

First off, what did ALEKS indicate as the reason for denial? It should show you, if you don't know why, send an email to ALEKS asking why it failed for you.
You must make sure the final assessment shows 70% or higher, otherwise ALEKS will deny that.

One thing to note is to make sure that the final assessment is at 70% or higher, not just your pie chart percentage... you may have completed say 65% on the first assessment, and did 6% on the pie, giving you a 71%, but that doesn't mean the final assessment was at 70% or higher, it's just an indication that you're at 71% of the pie.

By "do it again" I just meant he should request credit through ACE again -- not that he should do any of the course again. If it's >= 70% mastery, then it's done.

I would strongly encourage you to do College Algebra first now that you have finished Intermediate Algebra. ALEKS seems to know that you've already mastered some concepts when you've just completed the previous course in the sequence.

That being said, to assign a new course, you log in to the Master Account, then assign the new course to the Student Account. Once again, when you log in once more with the Student Account, it will begin the preliminary assessment for the new class.
