ajs1976 TESC BSBA accountability thread

ajs1976 Wrote:Its been 7 or 8 years since I have taken Financial Accounting. I'm not planning on reading much of the book. I am going to use the exam guide and index to create a bunch of flash cards. SL is plan B.

Godspeed my friend!

I nearly killed myself to get a B in accounting 1. I literally decided against a CIS MIS type degree because I didn't want to take more accounting and economics.

August update:

Passed Strategic Management TECEP, but because of the delay from the computer issues, I haven't gotten far with Macro yet. Think I will take a shot at the Saylor exam and if that doesn't work try the CLEP.

Was hoping for December graduation, but don't think I can make the deadline. Between waiting for transcripts for exams and a personal project I have in September, better to just apply for the next one.

You can still apply for December graduation and if you don't make it then you'll automatically be re-audited for March graduation (no additional fee required).

I guess it is time to blow the dust off of this old thread.

Looks like 10/1 is the deadline to have everything wrapped up so I can make December 2017 graduation.

Macroeconomics - I decided to go with Study.com. Straighterline and Saylor were not working for me. Hoping to take the exam in the next week.

Managerial Account - Taking a 2nd shot at the TECEP. My first attempt was in the spring and with minimal prep I think I scored 50-55, so with two weeks of study I should be good. Study.com will be plan B if needed.

I'm done.  I finished both and I'm waiting for Macro to process on to my transcript.  I'll post more details once I can get back into my other account.
