Uexcel Fee Increase

I don't know if anyone has posted about this, but I saw fee increases for Uexcels registered for the term starting 06/27/16. I don't know if there will be an increase in the Pearson testing fee. The two-hour exams are going up $15, the three-hour exams are going up $10, and the nursing ECEs are going up $10. I also didn't know that Uexcels were like TECEPs, or maybe it's recently changed. You have to register for them and take them within a 16-week or 8-week term.

Fairly recent change:

"As of September 2, 2015, when you register for any UExcel and/or Excelsior College Examinations (ECEs), you'll need to select the specific term in which you'll take your exam. You will select from either an 8-week term or a 16-week term within a specific trimester."

For me, If I needed the course credit and the only option or the better option is an UExcel exam, I will take it over harder course or more expensive option.
