I might switch to the Per credit plan or whatever it's called now if I can to where I only need 16 hours of Residency as tuition will still be the same being military. In that case I would have 9 hours from TECEP exams from May term and a precious term needing only 7 more hours. C programming and the system analysis class long with this 1 credit capstone would work great or take maybe the Applied Math for an easy A even though it would be more money in the long run. However, this would all be dependent on them letting me switch from the military plan to another one. However I did see last night while under my profile page the option to select a plan. That's an issue I need to email them and ask since I'm trying to be finished with everything by the August term for Decemeber graduation.
Yeah, I have no experience with the military plans ( I didn't even know there was one) Sounds like you get some sweet preferential treatment on teceps still counting for residency which normally I would complain about but since your military, hell, you deserve all the special treatment you can get! Good Luck with your plan.

The only other question I'll email them with is if I change plans will I be kicked into another academic calendar year thus needing the new classes like public speaking instead of the old catalog. That would be a bummer but it's a decision I might have to make. I guess I also need to figure out if the school is still taking Strategic Mgmt from PF as there seems to be some some confusion about it. The last post I read is that they were but that was the end of March in that posting. Even if I don't switch degree plans, I should be able to get at least 15 more hours from them hopefully with some easy TECEP exams or easy classes.

Looking forward to hearing what TESU say about you changing over to the Per Credit Plan from the MDCP. I've been toying with the same thought too due to the new 16 credit residency

I was told by the registrar that "everyone" now has the 16 credit requirement. weather or not that applies to MDCP peeps is above my pay grade but I imagine it would apply. My requirement used to be 24 as well but it changed to 16. I would double check if you haven't already.

The MDCP hasn't been changed.
Those under this military specific program are still required to complete 24 credits, and thankfully TECEPs etc. still count.
However, it's always possible the MDCP could be changed soon too, lining it up with the civillian plan ?? Time will tell

Exactly. If I did change plans I'd still have 9 hours worth of TECEPSfor residency and just needing 7 hours of classes for the 16 residency hours they now require. I will probably email them Monday and look into it. On one hand it would be cheaper I think to go this route as like I said you're still locked into the military tuition rate at 250 a credit hour. On the other hand, three classes at 750 a pop equaling 2250 is a lot more than needing 5 more TECEP exams for 555. But since all the remaining classes I have left can't be tested out of with TECEP exams such as Programming and System Analysis and Design I need to do the math and see what the real cost might be by taking at a cheaper alternative and see if it still beats the 2250.
