Based on the type of credit, I'm going to suggest you look at COSC first - you'll have no trouble using CCRS and FEMA.
EDIT to add: The other schools suggested in this thread probably won't take your FEMA. FEMA is the issue, not your police credit. Since you have so much of it, I would absolutely at least get an official application sent in. Send your transcripts and see what they say. Once you see what fills the blanks, you'll hvae an idea of what's left to do and then you can get targeted suggestions from people here. Unless there is some reason NOT to use COSC, that would be my first stop.
Thanks! I am going to go with Charter Oak because of all the FEMA I have. Can I enroll in Charter Oak without choosing a major right away? I want to see what best fits with what I have already best before I commit to a degree.

Wow! That works out. Their MA in CJ is only 30 credits, so you'll be pretty much half way done. Good Luck!

I don't know if you can
enroll without choosing a major, you can certainly
apply without choosing. Once you've applied, you'll be able to get targeted advice from them.

Thanks everyone. I guess I will just apply and see if I can get a better understanding to what degree plan would work best at COSC. I think I will take all my General Ed credits before applying.

In 2013, this is how TESC evaluated my credits. Obviously things are different from school to school and obviously my FEMA credits are null and void at TESC. But, this gave me an idea of how many credits were considered upper and lower credit. Hoping to have similar luck at COSC.

rebel100 Wrote:I suspect you are very close then, here is what I think you still need (COSC-gen ed):
DSST technical Writing (satisfies Eng Comp 2)...easy test IMO
Ethics (the DSST Ethics in Business is UL)
literature and Fine Arts ...Take CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Literature, often cited as a reading comprehension test that is very easy.
Science with a Lab (4 credits) I generally recommend Straighterline Biology with a Lab
Is it possible to satisfy the above with Straighterline only? I was thinking if I could bang these out in a one to two month period via Straighterline, I would save $ even more.

Hey Rebel,
I started my application on COSC and am applying to he BA in Individual Studies in Crim Justice as instructed. I had a question. They are asking me to pick two individual study options. Obviously one would be Criminal Justice but what should the other one be in? Does it matter? And whatever I pick, will that possibly change my degree requirements? Thanks for your help.
