About repeating Clep exam

Hi,
Is it possible to repeat the clep exam within the six months?
A month ago, I couldn't pass one clep exam, is it possible to take the same exam again.
I would really appreciate if anyone can tell me about it and also, about the clep exam: Human growth and development.

You are not able to take the same exam within 6 months of failing. You may go to the test center and take the exam, but somewhere during that process CLEP will discover you have taken the exam and invalidate your score and not report it to your college. Remember, one of the questions you have to answer before taking the exam is have you taken this exam within the last 6 months or something to that effect.

i read in a previous post that if you fail an exam, you can appeal to retake it in 3 months...can someone refresh my memory on which exam that was? dsst or clep? thanks!
