Liberty University and Tor College
#1
Hi,
I have always been a silent reader. I know this is the forum for the "big 3" but I want to transfer to Liberty University Online next year. I didn't know where else to post this thread  I've been clep-ing and took courses at our local 2-year college.

Question: Does anybody know if Tor College credit will transfer to Liberty Univesity or not? Or whom I could ask? Should I just shoot LUO an email?

Thank you!

Anna,
I attended Liberty briefly and they seem to be very transfer friendly. As long as you have the credits included on your ACE transcript I think it would be accepted. You can email them the course syllabus and ACE recommendation and they will advise you if it will be accepted. They also offer free pre-evaluations if you look on their website you should find info on that.

Good luck

Tor College Credits doesn't use ACE; they use the less-known NCCRS. Ask Liberty University if they accept credits recommended by the National College Credit Recommendation Service formerly known as PONSI.

Hi!
Thanks everyone! I just talked to them in their online chat and they had no clue what I was talking about and told me to contact admissions.
I'll do that soon.
Another question: a while ago I saw that people posted their degree plans for certain degrees and colleges. Where was that? I can't find it anymore. I would also like to add one for Elementary Education BS from Liberty University.
Maybe someone already has a degree path for LUO for Psychology BS, that's the one I would like to pursue.
Thanks!

UPDATE

They made me fill out one of their Online Transient Requests. I had no clue that they offer that. Smile
Eagerly awaiting their response.
