I took 2 DSSTs the same day—Supervision and Technical Writing, in that order. I wish the testing center would've combined the fees but they didn't. Take a break between tests if you can. I did, but still felt tired during the second test :/ Maybe have a snack too...

Westerner--did the center allow you to schedule the tests with a break in between, or did you ask once you got there?

Just a reminder that one test center's policies about scheduling exams is not necessarily the same for all. It is always a good idea to gather as much information about the test centers in your area as possible. Here are some of the questions I can think of off the top of my head:
Are they open to all students (open) or do they only deliver exams to their own students (closed or limited)?
Do they administer the exams on a computer or paper/pencil method?
When do they offer CLEP/DSST exams -- specific days of the week or month, specific appointment times?
What is their proctor/admin fee? Is this fee charged per exam or per day of testing? What is the acceptable method of payment?
Do they require a certain number of days to register before the appointment date?
Do you have to pre-register or do they allow walk-ins?
What size is the test center? Open room with cubicles, open room with tables, privates rooms?
Is there a limit to the number of exams each candidate can take in one day?
Is parking readily available? Is there a cost for parking?

Hi - I know that you directed this to Westerner, but figured I'd share my experience since every testing center is different. I didn't think to ask when I scheduled them, however, the center I used had just one computer, so the administrator had to set up the second exam in between, which gave me about a ten minute break. Let us know how it goes!

BGSU_Alum_86--Great questions to ask--I hadn't thought about those things. (I know that my center's open,not limited, and I think it's walk-in, but I'll double-check). Thanks!
KingdonUnshaken12:28--Thanks for sharing your experience--and I'll make sure to post after I take my test(s).

I had to schedule the times I wanted to test a week before I came in, and the DSST center only offered tests at 10 AM & 1 PM. So I was essentially locked into those slots
I finished the first test in about an hour and got ~1.5 hours break.

Sounds like the CLEP center gave you a nice break in between (even if it wasn't planned that way)!
