Counseling, Social Work or Rehabilitation Services courses
#11
So I won't know for sure if the courses will satisfy the requirements until I take the Cornerstone course? Also, If I were to do a consortium agreement with COSC and CSU-Pueblo, would I only have to take the Cornerstone course at COSC? Or will I need more credits there to get the 12 needed hours for fin. aid?

You develop your CPS with your advisers input during the Cornerstone...approval is required to use the courses as you plan...most have the CPS approved without a hitch. The Adviser and Cornerstone Instructor will keep you from reaching too far.

Under a consortium agreement COSC will be the official school, but they will allow you to take additional hours with any other school that will play along. CSU was great about this, BYU refused flat out. I took the cornerstone plus 3 CSU courses one semester then the Capstone plus 3 CSU courses the next semester. The total has to reach the minimal 12 credits/semester. CBE (clep/dsst)doesn't count. SL is no go to for the purpose of financial aid.

Corner and Cap HAVE to be COSC.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Ok I get it now. I figured COSC would want you to take more of their courses. I truly appreciate all of your help.

Anytime, I'd be happy to share my CPS with you if you like...just PM me your email.

COSC was FANTASTIC about letting me use whatever I could justify, they even suggested DSST's that would be appropriate in my CPS...and let me use that Civil War DSST at the last minute to graduate.
