The WGU Forum is full of reports from people who have done so, though I would say 18 months is more the norm. There are several notable reports of folks doing this program in 6 months or less...very doable.

Revisions to Task 1 are complete....still have 1 area I'm concerned with (SOX compliance), but I went ahead and sent it anyway. Paper grew to 19 pages, double spaced...there is a good deal of repetition in how the answers came out, all indications are that this is pretty normal though...we'll see.

Happy 4th of July!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

4 out of 6 areas passed on revision....I'm gonna have to really get deeper in this SOX compliance. And this is just task 1!

Wow, once you stick this one out it sounds like you the rest will seem easy in comparison.

That's what they tell me.

My adviser deliberately put finance with the easier risk and social responsibility for just this reason.

OK, got an email back from the course adviser who suggested a few additions (he got back to me within 24 hours btw). I've added less than a single page to the document, hope it passes this time!!! Very little to add really, I missed a signature requirement and overlooked some things I felt were really to obvious to mention....oh well! Wink

Ok, Financial Analyses Task 1 COMPLETE!!!

Seems like it's taken forever!

On to Task 2, at least 2-4 seem more specific.

Task 2 submitted, it will likely come back for major revision...but that will at least provide a jumping off point.

This time I will send a note right to the course mentor for additional guidance.

This task deals with flexible budgets, variance, and budgeting concerns...definitely NOT my cup of tea.
