I can't believe I did it ~!!!! I can't stand math and some way ALEKS makes it do-able! Statistics is done!!hilarious
Since I'm paid up with ALEKS I will go ahead and take the Geometry class that can count as a General Education Elective ( natural science)
SO happy right now....I get a little break

WAIT!!! First congrats, second geometry won't count!
The only ALEKS courses that count at TESC are ones found under high ed category with the asterisk * next to them.
P.S. my oldest has been going and going and going since about 60% and this past month has taken him up to 74, down to 60, up to 72, down to 65, up to 70, down to 66....I think he's about ready to chuck his computer out the window.

Jennifer's right (as usual), so your Beginning Algebra won't count at TESC either.

Don't freak out, you can still complete INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA (3) and COLLEGE ALGEBRA (3) plus CLEP College Math (6) all without any duplication. Now, if you want to go higher, that's possible too. But these should all be somewhat easier than geometry and stats. Good luck!

I thought that counted as a free elective? Back in 2010 when I finished my BA I was able to use it in my degree plan, but after that I thought I heard it was "downgraded" to a free elective. At any rate, intermediate or college algebra is probably best.

I already have a math class from my associate degree that is equivalent to College Algebra. I know the beginning Alegebra won't count (I originally thought I had to take college Algebra so that is why i did the beginning algebra. But I sent an email to TESC and they said I could do either Precalculus, quantitative business or intro to geometry?? Here is the email. DO YOU THINK THEY GAVE ME WRONG INFORMATION??
Dear Candy,
All of your suggestions would be appropriate for the General Education area of your degree. Take the one you anticipate having the most success doing.

Hello,
I am currently taking the ALEKS intro to statistics. I have credit with ALEKS for 3 more weeks. I would like to take another ALEKS course to count toward my General Education ( natural Sciences credit) Would the ALEKS Intro to Geometry or Trigonometry or Statistics for behavioral sciences fill this credit without duplicating anything?
Thanks,
Candy Fallon
