Can anybody recommend a good Online Technical Writing course or series of courses?

I am almost finished with my Bachelors and I would like to know if anybody knows about an
in depth program in Technical Writing offered online. When I make a search I see several
courses (it does not matter if it is not a college) but I am not able to find forum feedback
or other references about them.

Are you just looking for the credit or do you need to take a course for some other reason? If it's just for the credit, look at taking the DSST Technical Writing exam. You could also try Business Communications through Straighterline, ENG121 – Business and Technical Writing through Penn Foster College or BUS210: Corporate Communications through Saylor.org. Whichever you pick just make sure that it is transferrable to your school!

Thank you for your replies. I would like to take a more detailed course or series of courses in order to improve
myself as a writer and try to get a job as one. I have already taken Straighterline and the DSST.

I am also aware that there is a course online from a New Jersey school but the price tag ($12,000) is
out of my range. I would like to know if somebody within the forum has direct experience with other
courses that could be as good as the one of New Jersey but more affordable; as I have noticed many
times through the years that this forum members have found several affordable and high quality courses
in other areas.

In-depth study of a limited area of literature, language, or criticism.

Also, take a look at the Writing & Publishing continuing education courses at MSU. Remember though that these are not worth college credit.
