Thank you for the quick response. I noticed some clep courses are worth more credits than others? Is that true? Is there somewhere that lists the amount of credits you can get per clep? Are the amount of credits rewarded based on number of questions answered correctly?

Languages yield you 12 max, with a 6 min. Aside from languages, the highest possible credits you can earn is a 6. The majority of them are 3 per test.

There are General Subject CLEPs that are worth 6 points each. These are the equivalent of a freshman year of college. They are Social Sciences, Humanities, ...and three others that I forget that deal with college math, natural sciences, and english. In addition to the language courses that submissiongrappler mentioned, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature is worth 6 credits. You get full credit for CLEPs if you pass. For foreign languages, however, I think that you can get up to 12 credits, and that's based upon correct answers. Welcome, and best of luck.
