U.S. History 1

Hello,
I just joined and wanted to make sure I understand correctly. All I have to do is study the flashcards and when I feel comfortable with the material on the flashcards I should be able to take my CLEP exam with confidence?

Definitely look at the specific feedback for this test.
Some people pass with just flashcards and some people require a lot more materials

I too am getting ready to take this, next Tuesday, and for a week almost im studying from:

Specific Feedback Topics
IC flashcards
REA Book & Practice Tests
Petersons Practice Test
Clep Practice Test
Hippocampus
and small other sources.

Id say its better to over study than to underestimate the test.

I would recommend that you use other resources besides the IC flashcards to supplement your studying. At least for me, I needed something else that put it all in order in my head for me. I second what seanmathews posted. He has lots of good resources! Just my thoughts!

If you have a decent amount of prior knowledge of this period then learning the flashcards well will be enough. History is something of a story, you need a timeline in your mind. The flashcards are good, but they don't give you that flow of information.
If you want other resources seanmattews has listed good ones above; and if you want more info... check the 'Specific Feedback' section.

Or search within this forum. You will find the REA book highly regarded for this exam. It can provide you the flow you need. REA and the flashcards is unbeatable.
