Advice for Biology CLEP test score maximization, please!
#1
I'm working on doing my CLEP for Biology, and this is totally new to me. I'd like some advice on how to get the best score! Books to read, where to get practice tests, anything! Thank you, I would appreciate any help.

I have taken and passed the Biology CLEP with a 65. I dislike Biology, but the test is very doable with the right amount of study. Keep in mind that the Peterson tests are harder then the real thing and that the REA are slightly easier. Besides IC which is great for this test here are some additional resources.

I attached a slightly updated version of the Biology feedback from the IC members.

Unless Biology is a firm requirement, I would go with Natural Sciences as it is easier to study for (at least in my opinion). I have 12 science credits through CLEP NS, DSST Physics I and Environment & Humanity. I thought those tests were easy to study for and had some overlap. Biology and Chemistry have high fail rates due to the amount of depth required.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Not a problem.

Another idea... when you're looking for stuff you can use the search feature on here. it usually turns up quite a bit of good info.

Well, thank you, but I'm going to stick with Biology this time around. It hasn't been really hard for me to remember yet, and I like Biology. Thank you for your concern, though.

Neat! I'll see what that can do.

I haven't really been a member that long, and I'm still exploring stuff. I didn't know what that was for. So, yeah, I'll check that out, and thank you again!
