Please Pray for my Dad
#1
Hi everyone, I wouldn't usually do this, but the situation is quite serious. My Dad started complaining about a numbness in his right side. We didn't think it was a stroke because it was on the right side, but we immediately took action. He could still move is hand and foot, but didn't have the strength to stand or move much. My Mom and some of my siblings just took him to the emergency room. It could have been a minor stroke or a blood clot somewhere. We're going to try and get an MRI asap to see if there's a blood clot.

Please pray for him and my family. This could have a tremendous effect upon the family because he's the primary provider. I'm not yet working full time, so if he can't work, we would have to make a big transition.

We were totally unprepared for this, and were already going through quite a few family problems, so the friction and stress have been high. Please keep us in your prayers. I know that God has a purpose in this, and that His will will be accomplished no matter what. I'm just trusting and praying.

He is obviously blessed to have a supportive family around him who will see him through. And I am sure he is in the thoughts, prayers, etc., of everyone reading this now.

Thanks everyone.

UPDATE: It was a minor stroke. No blood clot, just really high blood pressure that caused it (which could be from very high stress, idk). Docs said that if the numbness doesn't go away soon, this could be a full stroke. I'm not totally sure what could happen. They're trying to get his blood pressure down, but he keeps getting anxious, which is not helping. Thanks for your prayers, and please continue praying.
