The Aleks ACE process usually takes less then 72 hours. Once you get the approval and request the transcript TESC usually had it within 1 week. ( They took 2-6 weeks to aknowledge that they had it an up to 6 more weeks to add it to my transcript). But Ace is usually good about getting things out quickly.
Congratulations on finishing. I am SO GLAD I never have to look at Aleks again.cheersmate

For Aleks, is it $20 a month per course or can I take as many as I want for the subscription fee?
Thanks

You can take as many courses as you want per one month subscription fee (if you go over one month that is fine you just pay for another month). Some people have completed 3 or 4 math courses in one month! That equals 9-12 credits in one month for $20. You can't beat that!!

It's better than an actual class...I guess....but DAM this ALEKS process is painful!! I put in time each day, and everyday I still need to start with a quick review.
I do a couple of hours, work through a variety of pie pieces/sections....so far I've had 2 spontaneous assessments pop up and I get better each time, judging by the status bar......but HOLY CRAP I still.....still only have 28% assessed.
I've been printing out every single explanation and labelling them for easier quick reference for later, making sort of a textbook for myself to refer to in future assessments. But this is taking forever.......I think the instant CLEP/DSST has spoiled me. lol

I just wanted to post a mama brag. My 14 yr daughter just finished College Algebra yesterday and my 16 yr old son finished College Trigonometry on 2-14 using ALEKS.
It's been a great learning tool for them. I'm very proud of both of them for sticking to it and finishing. As soon as ACE accepts her course she will move on to Trig.
My son just started taking his assessment in Statics yesterday, so don't know how long that course will take. When he did Trig. it didn't take him long as his first assessment was at 66%, my dd is hoping that hers will be as high.
Anyway, just had to brag a little on my kiddos!

What a great brag!!
My 16 year old has completed a lot of ALEKS courses, but not all for credit. My 10 and 12 year olds are in ALEKS too, but again, not for credit. My oldest is finishing Business Math within the next week or two and starting precal.
66% initial assessment is awesome!!!! I took the behavioral stats assessment today for fun and only got 33% :ack:
