I am pregnant with baby number 10 due any day.
And we have very limited funds, which are dedicated to mostly 2 things:
Maintaining a decent life now.
Investing in our kids' futures.
I hope to get a degree - some day. But my main goal for the near and dear future? That's my kids. So far, after my time here, they have taken one CLEP. About a month after baby is born, one of them is taking the A&I Lit. By the end of next fall semester, I hope another will have had it and two of them will have also taken astronomy and western civ 2.
If I can afford to take the exam too, that is great. However, sometimes the budget just doesn't stretch to cover me too. If I have to choose between myself taking the tests or my sons, then I wait.
We do what we can, when we can, when we are ready for it.
If others have more money (it is cheaper - not free) or time (it is quicker - not immediate) to devote to this, then yea them.
But to denigrate others for not speeding through at some lightening speed?
Well... My friend, you should ignore the ignoramuses.
This is one of the best post's I have read in a long time. If everyone actually took care of their kids instead of just talking about it (not everyone of course, but so many) the world would be a much better place. 10 babies???? REALLY?!?!?!

Well not 10
babies.
A new baby due any day, plus 9 siblings ages 2 through 16.
10
babies is a whole other reality I hope to never personally experience.

Anyone know what ever happened to MA2? He was banned a few weeks back, but I don't know why. I was getting ready to respond to some questions he asked be about me degree, and then I find out that I can't send him a message because he is banned.
BTW Don't leave MC. This forum does not get nearly as negative as some I use to visit. If you want, just take a break (let "SOME" people forget about you), and then come back. This is public forum, not a battle ground. I look forward to seeing to around.

I'm guessing it had something to do with the comments made on this thread

Maniac Craniac,
You have personally been help to me to complete my super fast light speed track to my degree!
Do not leave here for any reason, your contribution is beyond valuable.
Ignore the naysayers!
Just last week on the Celebrity Apprentice (i know i know its just cheap fun
) Donald Trump even said that the number one thing he tells people about sucess is to NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER NEVER NEVER.
Come on man, who gives a crap about other people? you started this for you, you're going to end it for you and you're going to pay it forward. Keep on the path, its all good.

I don't understand; I guess I missed something. Why are you leaving so abruptly?
Please don't go! Your posts are always enjoyable and often humorous, and that makes them even better, imo!
Your participation here will be sorely missed.
