Civil War Brain dump - CLEP101 - 05-09-2009

I just finished taking the Civil War DSST and passed with a 59. Now I just need to take and pass Rise & Fall of the Soviet Union.
For some reason I can't retain what I'm studying for the next exam. Trying to learn Russian History with all the Civil War history stuck in my head.
I think I might need to take a week off before attempting the next exam.

How long did you give yourself to study?

I've had similar things happen to me but not always with CLEPs. Sometimes I just have to take a break from whatever seems to be on my mind and what I am studying for. I think that a short break would be good for your brain after quickly absorbing Civil War History!

For Civil War, I studied for about 3 weeks on and off. I'm just starting on the Soviet Union. But I think I'll take a few days off, then start strong again for the next test.

I've found a short break can really help me get started again. Just make sure it stays short. Wink I've had breaks that were supposed to be short that turned out quite long. Smile

Also, I just took Rise and Fall of Soviet Union and have a lot of notes if you would like them. Let me know!
