Okay! I want to see, on here, who likes  PC's  and who likes Big Grin Mac's Big Grin! If you can't already tell from the expressions, I prefer Mac's!

I can't vote because I've only been exposed to PCs. I might like Macs better, but I don't know - I've never tried one before.

I like MACs so much better than PCs. They are easier to use, and have fewer issues. shhhhh! Don't tell anyone, because I support PCs for a living

I switched from PC to Mac three weeks ago and I hope to NEVER return to PCs... my life is suddenly 10 times easier.

Mac vs. PC - bkbarden - 05-06-2009

I voted "both" because I have friends with Macs and they seem so nice... but I have a PC and like it because I'm used to it. Wink But I wouldn't mind trying a Mac someday...

I prefer PC, but then again everything I do on computers more or less needs to be done on a PC.

I think that for a personal computer, a Mac is great, but depending on what work-related things you do it may not work for you. That's the case with me. All of my hobbies and my work are done better/easier/faster/cheaper on a PC, so that's what I go for.

Mac vs. PC - HoffyCoffee - 05-07-2009

If it wasn't for my massive PC gaming collection, I'd have gone with Macs. But that's what my Ipod is for. I would never be caught with a Zune Wink

I also make a living off fixing PCs.

PCs are great if you have a backup and don't mind reloading the OS every 6 months to a year!
Once you know keyboard shortcuts to any OS it becomes impossible to break free because no GUI (graphical user interface) is half as good x + y.

My SP3 slipstreamed XP Pro discs and drivers are taped inside my PC with the key written on the case for my biannual reloading of the OS.

I've had my computer (a PC) almost five years without reloading the operating system once. It still runs pretty well.

You are right, if you don't instal too many programs and limit your web surfing and a few other steps you can squeek by...but I bet if you reloaded the OS it would run like new! You wouldn't believe the responce people have when their computer that "ran OK" gets reloaded for whatever reason. I wish people would do it preemptively istead of waiting for it to go.
