Fast speech credits??? - Lexoh - 04-08-2009 Does anyone know a way besides DSST to get the CCAF approved speech credits? I'm in the ANG formerly active duty but I'm trying to knock out the speech requirement so I can get my ccaf degree before I get out. I'm trying to get overseas employment as a contractor and I'd like a degree to make myself more marketable. Anyon got any Ideas??? Fast speech credits??? - Lexoh - 04-08-2009 I already took the DSST but I bombed it . I'm trying to get my degree before summer but none of the fast-track courses start until the summer semester. I need some independent study or something that meets the reqs for CCAF. Thanks!
Fast speech credits??? - okiemom - 04-08-2009 I'm currently taking Public Speaking through BYU. It's enjoyable and self paced. A person easily could finished it in a short period of time.Since it's independent study, you could enroll right now but you would have to wait a week or so to get your access number in the mail. No book required. BYU - Brigham Young University Home Click on the courses online link. It looks like I'll be taking this course soon but I had one more question. Is there any way I can use the Mongomery GI Bill to pay for this? The tuition fee says it's like 400+ dollars. Fast speech credits??? - bat21 - 04-16-2009 Lexoh Wrote:Does anyone know a way besides DSST to get the CCAF approved speech credits? Its an eight week long course and I only conducted three speaches throughout the course. The funny part is that you aren't required to send in a video feed of your speech, an audio speech will be accepted. Good luck. Fast speech credits??? - bat21 - 04-21-2009 Byu is like that also, it is only audio 3-5 tapes and at your own pace. Fast speech credits??? - killerkitty - 04-22-2009 how do you do your exams? do you just record yourself doing your speeches? does that take the place of a "proctored" test? Thanks! Fast speech credits??? - okiemom - 04-22-2009 No proctored exams with BYU Public Speaking. A bit of reading material and the speeches. It's a very helpful course. |
