I may apply. RE: MS Applied Statistics - Alpha - 09-09-2022 The Purdue brand carries some weight. I would call it a national brand. I didn't check the cost but I'd be surprised is there wasn't a cheaper one around. I'm sure there are others around, maybe cheaper. Here's one. Master of Applied Statistics Online - Penn State World Campus (psu.edu) RE: MS Applied Statistics - Pats20 - 09-09-2022 $30k for penn state world campus or $30k for the real Purdue. That one actually costs more per credit; it's just that it requires three fewer credits. Penn State World Campus is the real Penn State... all WC students are officially registered at University Park (main campus) colleges (college of liberal arts, earth sciences, whichever), and receive the same diplomas as UP students. They make zero distinction on the diploma or transcript, and honors are calculated at the college level (i.e. against in-presence students). It is not like PUG or UMass Global which are actually separate universities. You can also take classes from any other campus - WC is just responsible for the administration of a lot of the online courses for Penn State. Which is why campus-based students can take WC classes in the summer (and during pandemics...). That said, I'd prefer Purdue to Penn State. RE: MS Applied Statistics - ifomonay - 09-09-2022 I did the stats degree at Penn State World Campus. The transcript says it's from the flagship campus. It doesn't say world campus anywhere.
