TESU Math UL & CAS calculators - StudentOLife - 06-03-2022 Anyone took any of the TESU UL Math courses and knows if it allows CAS calculators (Ie. HP prime)? RE: TESU Math UL & CAS calculators - carrythenothing - 06-03-2022 Check the syllabus for the course(s) you're interested in: https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/Current/Undergraduate-Catalog/Courses/MAT-Mathematics RE: TESU Math UL & CAS calculators - StudentOLife - 06-03-2022 (06-03-2022, 06:47 AM)carrythenothing Wrote: Check the syllabus for the course(s) you're interested in: https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/Current/Undergraduate-Catalog/Courses/MAT-Mathematics Thanks that's basically my home page at this point. The syllabus says "Note: You are permitted to use a calculator (scientific, graphing, or financial) but may not use a calculator on a phone, PDA, or any similar device." All of them essentially say that. Have you taken a math UL and were able to use a CAS calculator? I imagine this impacts the amount of work people need to put in practicing vs focusing on the concept. |
