Peirce College Free credits - gams007 - 04-28-2022 I just received an email from Peirce College now offering 13 free credits on their new program, can some confirm this. https://www.peirce.edu/degrees-programs/new-programs
RE: Peirce College Free credits - rachel83az - 04-28-2022 Interesting! If you don't go to Peirce, it's really up to 12 credits because the 1-credit class probably won't transfer. And they may only be ACE credits through Coursera. But that's still a good find, thanks! RE: Peirce College Free credits - MNomadic - 04-28-2022 Excellent find! My question is if you enroll in the free program to get a certificate how it will be transcribed as a Google certificate or as a Peirce certificate that can be transferred as RA credit RE: Peirce College Free credits - dfrecore - 04-28-2022 I know they're a partner of Study.com's and there are several degrees you can get using Study.com for a big chunk of the degree. It's an $11k degree though, so there are quite a few cheaper options. (04-28-2022, 03:47 PM)gams007 Wrote:(04-28-2022, 03:38 PM)MNomadic Wrote: Excellent find! I'm sure it will be transfer credit, and will show that it's ACE. RE: Peirce College Free credits - carrythenothing - 04-28-2022 It's really the orientation class (PRC 101) and Coursera (by enrolling as a student) that's free. You're still completing it on Coursera and transferring it in. Here's how they transfer in: https://www.peirce.edu/transfer-credit/google-certificates RE: Peirce College Free credits - NoStudentNoCry - 04-28-2022 (04-28-2022, 05:05 PM)carrythenothing Wrote: It's really the orientation class (PRC 101) and Coursera (by enrolling as a student) that's free. It's possible that it would only be a $6k degree at Peirce: https://www.peirce.edu/tuition-financial-aid/financial-aid-options/scholarships/believe-in-better-scholarships That could put it at a similar level as TESU and possibly cheaper than some CBE programs. AFAIK, the following degrees have the most transfer credits: BA in Liberal Studies BS in Organizational Leadership & Management BS in Technology Management BS in Human Services Leadership They have a bunch of other scholarships available, too: https://www.peirce.edu/tuition-financial-aid/financial-aid-options/scholarships RE: Peirce College Free credits - gams007 - 04-29-2022 (04-29-2022, 03:49 AM)rachel83az Wrote:(04-28-2022, 04:15 PM)dfrecore Wrote: I know they're a partner of Study.com's and there are several degrees you can get using Study.com for a big chunk of the degree. "I understand that you have contacted my colleague, Danielle Jones with questions. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I do need to inform you that we are not able to enroll new F1 students at this time as we are offering courses online only at this time." |
