Criminal Justice UL courses - ab10365 - 06-26-2020 Hi I hope everyone's doing well. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully found UL alt. credit sources for TESU's Criminal Justice AOS courses. I need to find UL credit for 5 of the following:
Can anyone clarify if any of the Lumerit courses come in as UL? If not, where else can I find UL credit? Who can I email at TESU to answer these questions as well? RE: Criminal Justice UL courses - Library2HospitalChaplain - 06-26-2020 Check Penn Foster on ACE, because of what it says here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Unofficial_List_of_Course_Equivalencies_for_Penn_Foster_%26_Thomas_Edison_State_College RE: Criminal Justice UL courses - dfrecore - 06-26-2020 First, as it says on the website, the list of electives is a guide, and you can bring in other CJ-related courses; so the TEEX course will work, and comes in as AOJ-340. Juvenile Delinquency (Only found as UExcel but it turns out it's LL) - it IS an UL course (exam), but it's TESU's policy to bring it in as LL. These Lumerit courses are all LL via ACE. CSU-Global doesn't allow you to take SSA's unless you're an enrolled student taking at least 1 course. CSU Pueblo Independent Studies ($205/cr=$615/course): https://www.csupueblo.edu/extended-studies/independent-study/course-offerings/index.html CRIM 310: Criminological Theory CRIM 353: Penology CRIM 407: Family Violence CRIM 410: Structural and Elite Crime CRIM 411: Police and Society CRIM 414: Serial Murder CRIM 415: Forensic Criminology CRIM 425: Gangs in Contemporary America RE: Criminal Justice UL courses - ab10365 - 06-26-2020 (06-26-2020, 11:17 AM)Library2HospitalChaplain Wrote: Check Penn Foster on ACE, because of what it says here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Unofficial_List_of_Course_Equivalencies_for_Penn_Foster_%26_Thomas_Edison_State_College Thank you for your response. When I checked ACE's website, it seemed that all of the courses that were previously recommended for UL credit haven't been renewed, & that all the current courses are recommended for lower level credit. Some of them I only missed by a few months, but some haven't been renewed for years . Still thank you for the link. I'll contact TESU & cross my fingers lol. I only really need to find 3 more courses since the TEEX Death investigation course is considered UL. I was starting to believe that I'd have to take these courses at TESU (which I would like to avoid if at all possible). Thank you so much! |
