most big systems still run on cobol
you still have many financial companies using python instead of 3
nobody's going to dump a system that has been working for years just because something else in new and popular

Plenty of big systems aren't running on Cobol. My husband hasn't used Cobol in over 15 years. He would find a new career rather than go back to Cobol. His company is in the process of moving to a cloud based system on AWS with Python. He's been working with SQL for over a decade now. He's looking forward to moving onto Python.

You're right, Bryan. Sorry. And apologies to bluebooger and nomaduser. Jerking around with 4 levels of quotes, I messed up.

Hope we find out. I'm dying to know...

Pretty sure it was just a typo leaving out the 2, referring to Python 2.x over Python 3

Yes - probably is. Dang! And I SO wanted to be the first here, to learn this radical new programming language called 3!  Smile Oh well, maybe I'll wait till 4 comes out...
