Filmmakers - bpclep - 06-03-2009
Ok folks, I thought I'd ask: Who around here is interested/involved in filmmaking? I know alot of homeschoolers do CLEP tests, and also a lot of homeschoolers are involved in filmmaking, so I thought I'd see if any happen to be interested in both! (besides myself) It's certainly not limited to those people though I know; so speak up!

I like to make them but they never turn out that well. Some of my friends have made some that are Okay though.

We finally did it this past year. Imagine our delight when we discovered the final product was just over an hour long: the minimum duration of a feature length film!

Have you all heard of the independent film Pendragon? It was a finalist at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (SAICFF) along with Fireproof and Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed and other films.
My brother and I were involved as extras in some of the footage (including battle scenes). We met the Burns family (the producers), and they are really great people. I would love to be able to work in independent Christian filmmaking in the future.

I don't think it's at Blockbuster yet, but you can get the movie from Berean and Family Christian stores as well as Netflix.
