Filmmakers - bpclep - 06-03-2009 Ok folks, I thought I'd ask: Who around here is interested/involved in filmmaking? I know alot of homeschoolers do CLEP tests, and also a lot of homeschoolers are involved in filmmaking, so I thought I'd see if any happen to be interested in both! (besides myself) It's certainly not limited to those people though I know; so speak up! Some of my friends have made some that are Okay though. Filmmakers - bpclep - 06-03-2009 That's how my films used to be Nick I never quite got the hang of it. But now I've learned alot. Not perfect, obviously, but learning. I'll go update my profile and put my website in it. Have you or any of your friends entered any film festivals? Benjamin Filmmakers - bpclep - 06-03-2009 Never mind, it's already there. Check it out if you want! But we've watched the ones from the San Antonio film festival and ours look nothing like them! We finally did it this past year. Imagine our delight when we discovered the final product was just over an hour long: the minimum duration of a feature length film! Filmmakers - Levi - 06-05-2009 Have you all heard of the independent film Pendragon? It was a finalist at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (SAICFF) along with Fireproof and Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed and other films. My brother and I were involved as extras in some of the footage (including battle scenes). We met the Burns family (the producers), and they are really great people. I would love to be able to work in independent Christian filmmaking in the future. I think you can download the movie from Welcome - Behemoth.com for about $10 or so. You can see the trailer here: Pendragon Media Center Filmmakers - cdautel - 06-05-2009 Levi_1989 Wrote:Have you all heard of the independent film Pendragon? My sister and I had seen the trailer for it and thought it looked like a good movie, but haven't quite gotten around to watching it yet.
