Ok folks, I thought I'd ask: Who around here is interested/involved in filmmaking? I know alot of homeschoolers do CLEP tests, and also a lot of homeschoolers are involved in filmmaking, so I thought I'd see if any happen to be interested in both! (besides myself) It's certainly not limited to those people though I know; so speak up!Big Grin

I was the cameraman for a VBS film some friends of mine had been trying to shoot for some years. We finally did it this past year. Imagine our delight when we discovered the final product was just over an hour long: the minimum duration of a feature length film!

Have you all heard of the independent film Pendragon? It was a finalist at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (SAICFF) along with Fireproof and Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed and other films.

My brother and I were involved as extras in some of the footage (including battle scenes). We met the Burns family (the producers), and they are really great people. I would love to be able to work in independent Christian filmmaking in the future.

I think you can download the movie from Welcome - Behemoth.com for about $10 or so. You can see the trailer here: Pendragon Media Center

That's really neat that you were an extra in Pendragon--sounds like fun! My sister and I had seen the trailer for it and thought it looked like a good movie, but haven't quite gotten around to watching it yet.

I don't think it's at Blockbuster yet, but you can get the movie from Berean and Family Christian stores as well as Netflix.
