Tired of Waiting - CLEP Game Plan

I've decided that instead of waiting for Excelsior and TESC to get back with me on evaluations, I would go ahead and start taking CLEP exams. I'm still unsure which degree program I want to take (will depend on transcripts). Since I don't have any business courses on my transcripts, I've decided to go with the following exams (in order):
Principles of Management
Principles of Marketing
Principles of Macroeconomics
Principles of Microeconomics
Introductory Business Law
The reason why I picked these exams in this order is for several reasons:
1. I believe they are all transferable to Excelsior and TESC.
2. They are all covered by IC.
3. They are all subjects I am interested in.
4. Management and Marketing both have alternative ways to be fulfilled incase of failure.
5. With exception of IBL, the order is also based on quantity of people and quality of score that passed the exams with IC and other study materials.
6. CLEP exams are offered daily (locally) where DANTES are offered bi-weekly.
Do you think I have a solid gameplan going into this?
I have an interview with KSC's Space Program on Wednesday, so I have decided to start studying on Thursday. If I'm offered the position, I will need to make a decision on whether I want to go to school part-time or full-time.

Hi, I'm studying for the biology clep. I registered to take the Peterson's practice test that I have read about here but it keeps asking me for an activation code to start the test. I've checked my email (didn't know if they were verifying it) but found nothing. Is there something else that I need to do?

Excelsior requires every one to take
Information Literacy, English and Math.
Would anyone recommend books that could
break me into the subjects. I haven't
signed up yet but would like to have some
basic understanding of the subject before
hand. Would the For dummies or Idiots
Guide be a good starting point?
Is Statistics hard? I have a lot of
different views.

I was wondering what tests, without prior experience could be taken ICE COLD! As in, little to no prior experience or study time. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything for this subject alone as was wondering what others thoughts and opinions were on this subject. I would say A and I Literature is one.

I have transferred my previous college credits, got an evaluation and learned that I am 21 upper units away from completing a degree.
Specifically:
Quote:General Education (Arts & Sciences Requirement)
21.00 semester hours at the upper level
Depth Requirements
A depth in the Arts & Sciences
Each depth consists of at least 12 semester hours in one specific
discipline, including 3 hours at the upper level.
My last job has just ended and instead of job hunting, I think this may be a good time to get this degree finished. The advantage is that I have more free time to study, however since I am not working, every week that goes by is costing me lost salary.
Any advice on the best exams or courses to take to quickly whip out the 21 required units and Arts & Sciences depth requirement?
I'm not sure trying to complete 21 units of upper level courses in 1 semester is wise even when not working, however at least I'll know I'll be provided with everything needed to pass from the provided textbooks and course materials.
Is learning the material needed to pass the credit by examination from scratch faster than taking courses?
I know some people have passed many exams with little or no study, but they had prior experience with the material which I do not have.
Should I enroll for 1 exam at a time and complete it before enrolling for the next?

DSST Civil War and Criminal Justice

Hello folks, I just came back from taking Civil War and Reconstruction and Criminal Justice DSSTs back to back.
I used the full two hours for the Civil War test and couldn't get to review 4 or 5 questions that I had checked for review. I finished the Criminal Justice test in 1:05 hours. (I guess this explains a bit the difference between UL and LL).
Fortunately, I got a B on both exams. On both, I was one point under the score equivalent to an A (for EC).
What I would like to report is that The Civil War is doable using only IC. The key is to read and fully process the answers on the cards. That's the way IC advises you to do it, but it's particularly true on this test. There were about 10 questions from the 112 that IC didn't cover, however some of them seem that you can work through them (or not, that's probably why I didn't score better). Anyhow, IC is all I used and it worked for me. In my opinion, an A is achievable only with IC. One tip, while you're studying for this test, have a map to look at and follow along. It will give you more of a visual about the way troops were moving and way to relate to some of the main rivers you'll be asked about. I wish I had done it. I thought of this while driving on the way to the test but it was too late.
On the Criminal Justice test, IC also does a good job but I think there were also 10 or 12 questions, from the 90, that were not covered by IC. This is definitely an easier test but, for the same reason, scoring high is more difficult. If you want a solid A on the Criminal Justice, it may be advisable to look at some other sources. There were plenty of questions about the juvenile court system and corrections. Also, many questions on all different case law regarding due process.
The specific feedback section has an accurate description of both tests.
Thanks to all of you who added to it.

LSU assignment feedback?

I know a number of us have taken LSU courses to meet the odd requirement here or there. Maybe someone else has experienced this -- if so, how did you resolve it?
I'm currently enrolled in 3 LSU courses. I'll take the final for 1 of them as soon as my exam proctor reopens her doors after the New Year. The other two are in-progress and I'm getting increasingly frustrated.
Both courses are reading- and essay-heavy, so the grading is generally subjective.
My assignments are being returned with a letter grade, a numerical score (points received of total), and NO COMMENTS. My emails, notes, calls, letters, and smoke signals begging for feedback are being ignored.
I can't figure out what the instructor wants if s/he won't tell me, and apparently, that's not going to happen. (I've placed a call to Independent Study, but the folks I talked to this morning were of little help.)
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you resolve it (how?) or just power through and FINISH the stupid course?
I'm definitely wishing I could test out of the remaining requirements for my major and, at this point, I doubt I'll take another LSU course. Ever.
