Just getting the word out... Liberty no longer offers the 25 percent First Responder discount to doctoral students... it is now only available to Associate, Bachelors, and Masters students....
The military discount remains an option for doctoral students however. No reason has been given for the change.

Curious as to whether or not anyone here has taken these. If so, what are your thoughts? I am waiting on UMPI and TESU's advising departments to respond about whether or not it transfers. When I emailed TESU's advising department, I received an email stating that I needed to contact their advising department.  I guess I'll need to set up an advising appointment. These courses are relevant to my genealogical niches and look like a nice way to acquire UL credit. (Assuming they transfer in as such.)

These are the particular courses that I'm interested in. The $500 price tag is steep for me, so I'll apply for a scholarship if TESU and/or UMPI accepts these courses.

Joseph Smith and the Restoration: 1805-1845 | REL C 341
Introduction to Family History Doctrine and Practice | HIST 205 This one isn't UL, but I would find learning about church policies and procedures surrounding temple work to be interesting.

There's also UL courses on modern church history and some scripture. Those ones don't stand out as much to me though.

My son has been admitted to UMPI for a Fall 2 start. I read in an article that people who already started on their path are eligible to make the choice to use thew new or old GEC through Fall 2. He has completed all of the GEC and is finishing up some Sophia courses. 

The article specifically says if you a matriculated by August 18, 2026 you can make a choice on the GEC (nor or old). Does that simply mean he has to be admitted with a start date? Or does he have to have all of his GEC's transferred by then?

To date most online master’s degree I’ve seen from India has been scheduled over a minimum two years, with some exceptions especially MBAs and certain programs from O.P. Jindal Global University.

Now, the University Grants Commission will permit Indian universities to offer more postgraduate programs including master’s degrees in one year to students with a four-year bachelor’s degree, titled an Honours degree in India. One hopes permission will extend to holders of four-year bachelor’s from other countries deemed equivalent.

Universities will need specific approvals to convert each program to a one-year format.

I'm currently in the process of finishing my BACS, I have a few credits left. I'm going to cap the 90 ACE credits limit, and I have transferred a couple of credits from a EU university. As a result, I have 6 remaining credits that needs to be RA.

This is the current plan. The bottom part is a BSBA that I might or might not complete at some point. The remaining COS-2130, COS-3300 and CIS-3010 I will do on study.com, bringing the total to 90. The purples classes are the ones that are RA (TECEP, foreign credits or normal TESU classes).

I'm planning on doing a 15 credits term at TESU with: SOS-1100, PHI-1300, CIS-1070, + 2 other classes. Then a final term with the capstone.
These 2 classes are the ones I'm looking for. Ideally, they should have no proctored exams, or no papers (would prefer no exam unless there are really a lot of papers to do). If there are exams, then there shouldn't be a lot of dates to memorize. Fitting into knowledge of other cultures for the BSBA would be appreciated but it's not necessary.

Any suggestion?
