New Forum for "PUG and other Global Universities" |

I see enough talk about Global Campuses here that it would be nice to have a forum specifically for schools like PUG. There are multiple plans on the Wiki already.
Purdue's name is really driving the school's popularity which in 2022 was already at over 45,000 enrolled. I have even recommended it to some people who wanted a well known name but still wanted to save money transferring credits.
Call the forum; "PUG and other Global Universities" ...or something similar.

Hello Everyone,
I almost finish my MBA now. Yay.
I have already posted a few thread about online DBA before. This time, I came across two university that is offer by a Chinese agent at Little Red Book app. The agent told me that both offer DBA and Brest Business School is better. But I couldn't find much information about these two business school.
Brest Business School
https://international.brest-bs.com/
ESC Amiens
https://www.esc-amiens.com/
Although both school seem to be legit. But when I look at Brest Business School Wiki's page, it stated that it is a "A school authorised to deliver master's degrees". Then if I take the DBA at Brest Business School, I guess it won't be fully regonize. Funny thing tho, on the English and French website, they didn't show there is doctorate degree. While in the Chinese version, it says they offer the doctorate degree.
On the other hand, ESC Amiens offical website show they offer doctorate degree. But I'm just not sure how regonize is this.

Can Sophia's Calculus be used for MAT 140 Mathematics for Business? |

Hello everyone!
I recently noticed that UMPI's webpage for the BABA Project Management & Information Systems says that MAT 131 Calculus can be taken in place of MAT 140 Mathematics for Business. According to UMPI's official transfer equivalency database, Sophia's Calculus course should transfer in as MAT 131 Calculus. However, the degree plans that I have seen for this major include Study.com's Business 110: Business Math instead. Has anyone been able to successfully use Sophia's Calculus course to meet the MAT 140 Mathematics for Business requirement for the BABA Project Management & Information Systems?
Thank you!

Has anyone had experience with or knowledge about the Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (ACLAS)? I've found some concerning information I want to share:
Key points about this institution:
- Claims to be based in Atlanta, Georgia
- Offers online MBA, MCS, and DBA programs
- Only has CPD (Continuing Professional Development) recognition, NO formal academic accreditation
- Currently appears on the Georgia Nonpublic Education Commission (GNPEC) consumer alerts page
I'm curious about two things:
- What's the business model here - how do they sustain operations without accreditation?
- Are there any regulatory/legal implications for operating this way in Georgia?
If anyone has insights about similar institutions or relevant regulations in Georgia, I'd appreciate learning more.
