Well, my LPN wife has enrolled with New Mexico JC for summer semester. She plans to bang out her remaining prerequisites in anticipation of enrolling in the RN transition at Excelsior. There are some real advantages to NMJC over the local CC.
First is cost, while it's close to the price of my local CC, it's still about 10% cheaper. NMJC runs 8 weeks for A&P 1 then 2, only available in the full 15 week semester. Of course she goes to class online so the obvious distance benefits. She is happy to manage the three courses 1 every 8 weeks till the end of the year, likely start Exelsior later this year too.
Right now she's trolling for cheap textbooks; ebay, amazon, Abe books.
I'll update this thread as she progresses, sort of jealous....yay school!!!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Yes, yeah school! When I took A&P, I found the Dummies/Idiots guides from the library were super helpful. Also, I don't know how text dependent her courses are, but A&P is A&P is A&P. Tell her congrats from me!

She works (volunteers) as a nurse counselor at a pro life clinic. I'm very proud of her efforts and her commitment to improve her self worth to a cause we feel so strongly about. Having the RN with a psych/counseling Bachelors might make the most sense.

She might also want to take a look at the health studies concentration. The psychology GRE only comes with 3 UL credits.

My 18 year old son is walking the stage on Friday after being a DL student there. He took lots of nursing prerequisites there.

Is he planning to take his RN there? Curious how other schools view his online sciences. Congrats on his walking at 18, quite the accomplishment!!!
Let me know if he wants to sell any of these books
