whine, whine, whine
#1
(which I wish was wine, wine, wine lol - j/k)

I'm just venting- I suck at my anatomy and physiology 2 class. My teacher writes insane exams, just insane. Nothing conceptual- does she care if we know how the body works? Nope. It's all about minutia. The irrelevant insignificant freaking slivers of information hidden in medical texts - not our texts- that would be too obvious. Small details- like the names of a certain receptor tucked away somewhere, or the type of charge of a certain chemical at a certain point.

She pulled off our class stats page, I wonder if that's because we are all failing and she plans to implement a curve? HIGHLY doubt it.

The CLEP/DSST exams train you to study globally- understanding the big picture. Not this class! I just got a 68 on my midterm, that's why I said I wished for "wine" instead of "whine" :nopity:

Amazingly, I'm having a similar problem in my ANTH 254 Intro. to Archaeology class. The quizzes are torturous, although they are fortunately a smaller part of our grade. The professor has not accepted any of my arguments about her typos or ambiguous questions, either. I want to whine about the handful of points I have lost, as well!

Sixty-eight percent is still impressive in A & P II, if you ask me. That's advanced anatomy, isn't it!?!? I would never score that high!

Here's hoping for extra credit opportunities for us this semester...cheersmate

OMGosh, did you read what I wrote about my extra credit on the other board- is that what you mean? LOL I didn't write it here- but my distance learning teacher is offering extra credit to the students on campus ONLY. Lovely.

I'd score higher if everything didn't have a freakin name. Confusedmilelol:

Yes, I read it and I do think it's b.s. She should allow you to send something or donate money for the points.

I don't expect any extra credit this semester from my anth prof. She just sent out an announcement this week saying she would be away from her computer all week. The class is not really being taught.

Hooray college! It's an experience.

When I was in nursing school, a hundred years ago, all of my tests were like that. The only thing that got me through it all were the mnemonics we all learned. I could probably still recite some of them! banghead
