Could you please tell me what the physical diploma says for the ASNSM in Computer Science? Does it mention Computer Science? Thanks.

My ASNSM diploma says "Associate of Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics." The Computer Science concentration is only listed on my transcript.

It is for personal reasons. I want my diploma to encapsulate and convey, at a glance, the core of what I have studied. Other diplomas from other institutions (at least for 4 year degrees) seem to be more descriptive than TESU's diplomas that I have seen online.

What other institutions are you referring to? I haven't heard of any that are more descriptive, but then, I haven't seen many diplomas.

If you do a google image search to compare, you will see that WGU's diplomas include the concentration.

Some diplomas say more, some don't. Harvard's doesn't say more. But I can't imagine that would be a deal-breaker for someone. YOU know what you did to get the degree.

Personally I'm a little disappointed that it won't list the concentration. I'm looking forward to framing it and hanging it on my wall to stare at lovingly Smile but at the end of the day, it's a piece of paper and it will mean I finished, so can't complain too much. But if I had a choice I'd rather see the concentration/AoS than just BSBA. Oh well.

the diploma shows you earned a degree - your transcript shows your work that went into that degree. Since anyone can photoshop a degree, I would think seeing a diploma that DID list a bunch of specific information about what you studied to look a little suspicious.

Neither my B&M B.S. nor M.S. reveal any concentration or minor. It's cool; maybe our real concentrations are the friends we made along the way (aww)

BS Anthropology (Minors: History, Brazilian Studies) | Tulane (3.90, summa cum laude)
BA History & Political Science (Minors: Pre-Law, Intl. Studies, Social Studies, Criminal Justice, & Business Admin) | UMPI
MS Early Childhood Studies: Administration, Management, & Leadership | Walden (3.90)
Certificate Teachers College College Advising Program | Columbia
Certificate College Access Counseling | Rice
Certificate College Admissions Specialist | American School Counselors Association
Goals: A) EdD/MS in Higher Ed; B) 51/195 Countries; C) Find 3rd good hamburger in Shanghai (accomplished June '19, August '21, and...?)
