Got this notification this morning vBulletin Hack Exposes 820,000 Accounts from 126 Forums
As a precaution, I'm changing my password. Honestly, I don't think the hackers can do much with this information. However, those using the same password across multiple sites could see trouble

We are, however, using an old version of vbulletin software that is very vulnerable to a specific, well known exploit. To be honest, this forum is pretty lucky not to have been compromised years ago (as far as we know :p )

The admins just need to upgrade the board to the latest version, these exploits were all fixed a while ago. Upgrading takes just a couple of minutes in most cases and there's no reason not to. But we're in our own little word here, I don't think our admin pays too much attention to us.
