Intro to Info Tech did not transfer to UMPI as BUS200 for me. It came in as a general elective.
Visual Communication was a general elective for me.
Principles of Finance from Sophia seems to be hit or miss. Some have successfully transferred this in for BUS353 and others haven't Not sure what the deal is with that course. BUS353 is an exam in YourPace.
The humanities course on Study.com is more work than the humanities course at UMPI. Something to keep in mind. Many people have completed the course in a few days at UMPI.
The OP has already completed financial accounting at their community college. I would recommend asking Jessica to review that course and see if it will transfer. It's possible that it was missed. She has a TON of students to advise and sometimes things get missed.
One thing to keep in mind is that the majority of the UL courses need to be completed at UMPI. Also the Final Assessment is 1 paper or exam. Some of the Study.com courses have multiple papers.

Yes, your experience aligns with the information I have been able to gather. I think your advice is sound, considering OPs educational history at a community college.
When you mention the majority of UL courses need to be completed at UMPI, how many courses exactly? Is it 6, or maybe 8? I dont seem to be able to find any exact information on this subject.

The degree audit form say how many courses have to be completed at UMPI. I think it depends on the degree how many UL's have to be completed at UMPI as all degrees don't contain the same number of ULs. On the audits I've seen, it's more than half of the UL courses have to be completed at UMPI. The BLS is a bit different because of there being UL's in the minor and then there's a section on the form that lists out the UL courses completed.

Thanks. "More than half" seems to be a pretty good rule of thumb, regarding minimum number of UL completed at UMPI.

Good advice Ashkir, and it mostly what I followed..
BUS 353 at UMPI did not accept Sophia Business Law - I was able to get them to take my BLW 203 class from a CC.
Bus 325 Is not on your list but is in my Audit - UMPI did not accept Principles of Finance from Sophia BUS 330 is not on your list - I assume this will need to be UMPI UMPi accepted one of my Marketing courses from CC
Bus 244 is not on your list - I assume this will need to be UMPI
MAT 140 or MAT 131 is not on your list - I assume this will need to be UMPI
The list does help though. I will ask Jessica (who is awesome by the way) if the Sophia Business Computing and Visual Communications will be accepted.
Thank you.
Jessica responded that...
ENG-102 will need to be reviewed by transfer staff.
ACC120 is good for BUS150
BLW-203 is good for BUS353
Waiting to have these confirmed to transfer...
Sophia Business Computing
Sophia Visual Communications
InstantCert Course Managerial Accounting
InstantCert Course Spanish I

BUS law from Sophia usually transfers as BUS 350 Business law 1 at UMPI, not BUS 353. Some have managed to transfer in principles of finance for BUS 325, others have only managed an elective. There is not much consistency in regards to this course.
There is no class at Sophia called Business Computing. Are you refering to Intro to IT at Sophia? I dont know if they will let you transfer that course for some course on your audit. Usually it transfers as COS 103. Visual communications has so far transfered in as a communication elective. It would be great if these courses transfered in as something useful on the audit. So I am crossing my fingers.
I would not stress over ENG121. Seriously it is a SUPER EASY class. You can complete it in 3 days or less. It's an EASY A. Can't everyone use an easy A?
What Sophia course are you calling Business Computing? They don't have a course with that title. Visual Communications is a general elective. These courses are still useful as every degree has general electives to fill. Some of these are super easy and fast courses that can be completed to fill the general electives.
I don't know anything more then most about UMPI - but I'm trying to share my experence as of today.
First Jessica has been awesome to work with, after applying to TESU July 2018 and getting accepted I couldn't get a rep to call me to go over a game plan. It really soured me on the process... but now I just look at it as a MS Office 365 license.
I attached an updated UMPI Audit I just received, but heres the highlights...
They reviewed and accepted my community College Eng 102 course for ENG 121, SPE 108 for Com 210 and confirmed the Study.com courses for me to take. I am waiting to see if they have a May course list yet, so I understand what will be available as I hear that not all classes are available session.
I wouldn't expect the summer courses just yet. Every course is offered every semester but not every session. There are 2 sessions in a semester. What do you plan on taking on Study.com?

These are the courses available thorugh Study that have been confirmed to transfer by UMPI -
Study.com BUS303 (UMPI BUS 244)- CORRECT
Study.com BUS304 (UMPI BUS 240)-CORRECT
Study.com BUS302 (UMPI BUS 260)-CORRECT
Study.com BUS306 (UMPI BUS 321)-CORRECT
Study.com BUS307 (UMPI BUS 335)-CORRECT
Study.com BUS312 (UMPI BUS 415)-CORRECT
And these are the courses I have not found anyplace to take except UMPI -
GE 4a - UMPI Orientation- does not count for credits
GE 1d - UMPI HUM103 or ENG211
BAM - UMPI BUS 325
BAM - UMPI BUS 440
BAM - UMPI BUS 469
BAM - UMPI MAT 140
MLC - UMPI BUS 489
I will require 4 more courses at UMPI then is listed in the UMPI ONLY list, so I can move decide what are the best (AKA easy and fast) courses to take at UMPI from the list of Study.com courses or take 4 other courses at UMPI to meet a second degree or masters program requirements.
