need help understanding

I took a practice Peterson's test last night for social sciences. The test is divided into 2 parts. I got a 63 on the first part and a 46 on the second part. Should I just average them to get how I did on the whole test?

Is the clep test divided into parts like Peterson's was?

Thanks for any help.

I am not sure why Peterson's divided the Social Sciences test into two parts. The actual CLEP test has only one section: 120 questions in 90 minutes.

I suppose you could just average the two scores together to see how you would probably score on the real thing. Happy Testing! Wink

Just for clarification, are the numbers 63 and 46 the percentage of correct answers, or the scaled score between 20 and 80?

Okay, basically if you get at least 50% of the answers correct, then you pass the test. I would try to take another practice test and see how you do.

Levi,
I'm certainly not done! I just took a Peterson's to see where I'm at, and give me a sense of where I need to start reviewing materials.

Thanks for the advice & clarification. I was really curious if the test was set up into 2 parts like Peterson's exam.
