I am interested in the answer to this as well. Their English Comp might be just the thing for me.

Looks interesting- my question is how they figure in the partner colleges. Anyone have more answers than what's on the website? It's showing $399 for a course, what is the $99 price?

Straightline has a one month crash corse that cost $99, Check out Sowak777 post it should answer your questions.

As was said above, check out the other post and it covers straighterline and tesc completely. The problem is only certain partner schools accept certain straighterline courses. I did the college algebra and the transcript should be on the way to TESC from FHSU as we speak. FHSU only accepts two of the other classes I think. If you go on the website you will see what partner colleges accept what courses and see if they are regionally accredited. If they are, TESC will more than likely accept them.

I am looking into doing the Math course as well. I've been studying for the College Math CLEP for about a month and a half and there is still so much I am missing.

So FHSU credit will transfer to TESC? I just need 3 math credits. Will this class knock them all out? Also the cost from what I can see is 99.00 to Straighterline and then 30 to FHSU for the application fee. Are there any other costs that I am missing? Thanks so much for any help. Smile

I will most likely take the English Comp II from them, when they offer it in Feb.

I will most likely send the transcript to COSC since I am already registered with them, or just take it at TESC and get a GPA with them.

I have used StraighterLine for College Algebra. I am going to use FHSU as the partner college and then transfer the credits to TESC. The College Algebra involved ZERO homework and 5 online exams that were not timed and not proctored. I easily completed the course in 3 weeks. Another person on this board did it in 3 days. The people at straighterline.com are excellent, and customer service is their HIGHEST priority.

I have not updated the information that I gathered a couple of months ago, so COSC is not included below:

Did you get this approved from an advisor at TE? I spoke with an advisor today, in person, and he told me in no uncertain terms that "TESC will not accept straighterline courses no matter who they are transferred through.

My College Algebra credits will be coming from FHSU, a RA school. If they will not take them, I will go to COSC instead. I have heard nothing but bad things about TESC, so I am not sold on going there.
