speed up things at tesc?
#1
How can I speed up my evaluation at tesc? I don't want to miss the next graduation date, but 25 days until evaluation? Grrr...then, if I'm missing credits, would an additional transfer require another 25 days wait? That's over two months of wait time Sad

You can't speed up your eval, but the next deadline to apply for graduation is Jan 1, so you have plenty of time. After you apply for graduation, you still have time after the deadline to complete and transfer in classes. So I wouldn't be too worried about it if I were you.

Finish up any courses you know for sure you need, wait for the eval to be completed, do any final courses you need, and apply for graduation before Jan 1 and you should be fine.

All evaluations sent to TESC should have been completed a long time ago.

You don't need your eval to be done to apply for graduation. They will expedite evals if your graduation date gets close and you still need credits.

As far as I know, there's two ways to graduate. You can enroll in a class, or you can simply pay for a comprehensive tuition and not have to take any class. Am I right? For the first option, does the cornerstone count as a class? I read that you can skip the cornerstone

You can enroll in any TECEP to get enrolled status.

Nope. Graduation and enrollment don't have anything to do with each other. You apply to graduate once you've applied/been accepted to TESU, and have enough credits (and in the right places) to graduate.

You also need to enroll in the capstone - an actual online course, or if you're getting the BSBA, you can instead register for the Strategic Management TECEP. You may also need to enroll in the cornerstone depending on your catalog and how many credits you transfer in.

Comprehensive tuition is the $9300/36cr single-year deal (or $6300 for in-state), and it's all about taking courses at TESU. Actual online courses.

What you want to enroll in is the Per-Credit Tuition Plan, which is free. The only thing you have to do is register for a TECEP (or course if you want to spend the money), and you're considered "enrolled." It's as easy as that. You need to take at least 1 TECEP/course per year to stay continuously enrolled and keep your current catalog.

You need to do more than enroll in the per-credit plan if you go that route. The per-credit tuition plan requires a $2000 residency waiver fee payment during the graduation process since you don't have the required 16 TESU credits.

I wasn't really talking cost, just the process. The poster seemed confused on the process of graduation.

So once one does this, does a specific degrre need to be picked out? In the catalog it seems that you can only have your specific degree requirements locked in after you enter a program, and if you swap programs....youre stuck with the current requirements.
We are all on the same side here, trying to better our lives....so let's get along and help each other out.

Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.
