I would like to get practice tests for this clep. Either a peterson or an official clep practice test would be great. The only problem is that I am abroad and It is very hard for me to buy any books here. This is one of the reasons instantcert is such a big help for me. Anyone has any suggestions about practice tests for this clep. Thankx alot.

http://www.principlesofaccounting.com is a complete textbook with practice tests for each chapter. That with instantcert should be everything you need. I used instantcert,
http://www.principlesofaccounting.com, the Barron book on accounting (which was pretty much useless), and the official study guide.
For me I found that there was a moment when everthing clicked... I've done almost every job there is except accounting. It's a different mindset and you have to break a few habits. Credit does not mean what it used to mean etc.
Just do a quick search of the forum and you should have everything you need for this test. Following the recommendations I found here I passed with 69 in under an hour. I marked any questions that seemed to have complex calculations (out of the 78 questions there were 4) and did them last. There is no online calculator for this exam so be prepared for some mild +-*/.

That strategy worked for me too.
There were many questions that didn't require calculations. I went through and answered those questions first. If I came across a question that looked like a calculation, I marked it and moved on without a second glance.
Then at the end, I was able to go back and complete all the calculation questions I had marked earlier.
This strategy gave me confidence, because I KNEW I had already answered a ton of the 'non-calculation' questions correctly. Also, when it came time to go back and do the calculation questions, I had a much better handle on how much time I had left etc.
Definitely a strategy I would recommend for the Principles of Accounting exam.

Avi,
I have emailed you a copy of the CLEP Practice test for this exam.
As a reminder for everyone else, here is the site where you can download the official practice tests/study guides for most CLEP exams:
http://www.inarng.org/Education/education.htm
(half way down the page).
Hope this helps,
