possible to switch from BLS to BAS ?

This might win the most ridiculous question of the year award.  If so, laugh along with your peers and me  , and help me decide the best plan of action. 

I've applied to UMPI for BLS, minor in MIS.  UMPI is awaiting a few transcripts.  In the meantime, I decided it might be better to go with a BAS with AOS/AOC in MIS.

I'm now looking at an Pierpont BOG with an AOS/AOC in MIS (or similar).  I have all the required 60 credits for this. 

Even if all my transcripts arrived at Pierpont by the end of July, it doesn't seem possible to get an August graduation date.  That would move me to the next graduation session, which seems to be December, according to this wiki:  https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC

If I have all the credits and have applied to Pierpont for my BOG, will UMPI allow me enroll in the BAS before my BOG is conferred?  If not, can I begin the BLS and switch to BAS after graduating from Pierpont?

Anything I need to consider related to this?

Do you have the correct 40 technical credits? Just having an AAS isn't enough to get into the BAS program. It's rare that UMPI accepts students into the BAS as it's technically not available in YourPace.

Good reminder.  I need to review my credits to see if I have 40 technical credits.  Do they all have need to be computer-related?
