I've seen contributors here with BLS PM & IS in their signatures and I'm wondering what I need to say to my success coach to have my degree changed from BABA Project Management to BLS PM & IS. Is it two separate degrees that I apply for simultaneously? I asked about "double minor" and she said "no thats not possible". What am I missing?
I've done a what-if via the student center and after completing 345 via Coursera and 401 at UMPI, I will satsified all requirments for BLS Management, MIS & PM.

I'm not as versed in UMPI. But I was registered last year to get my BABA in PM & IS before switching to ETAMU. I know UMPI made some changes. Is the BABA or BBA in PM & IS no longer available? Personally, I'd rather have that over a BLS.

Unless there was a big change that I missed, you should be able to add as many minors as you qualify for:
UMPI BLS with MIS, Project Management, and Management Minors
I would imagine there was a misunderstanding somehow. Maybe have a conversation to clarify why they believe this is no longer possible?

I'm concerned I don't know what language to use to clarify. I expressed in my email that after completing an in-progress course that I will have fulfilled the requirements for PM, Management & MIS.
I've been given some pretty bad intel from the coaches here that, in a previous case, was only coincidentally corrected. I asked about how many course I could carry at one time and was told two. A week later they reached back out, said policy had changed and then said four. I was grateful for the update but a week is significant to degree completion.
Should I reach out to the Registrar? I've looked on their site for detail about multiple minors but again, I'm not sure if I'm using the correct language.

- If you are enrolled in the BA in Business Administration, you can’t add a minor in Management.
- If you are enrolled in the concentration in PM & IS, you can’t add minors in PM or in IS.
- You might now be able to add a BLS as a second degree to the BABA but that BLS would require a minor in something not listed above, something not duplicative with your BABA.
- You could exit the BABA and switch to a BLS instead. You would be free to choose any available minors, but you would lose the benefits of the BABA.

It is my intention to exit the BABA and switch to BLS. I reached out to the coach to ask what needed to happen to complete the switch. She said "just pick a minor and let me know" I said "PM & IS" and was told I could not select multiple minors.

In the BLS or BAS, you need to choose one minor that will be (these are not official titles) your primary minor or first minor. After choosing that, you should be able to add an additional minor or minors.
Completing the primary minor will be a requirement for graduation. Completing any additional minor(s) will be optional.

Thanks, I can certainly select a primary. But how do I ensure that after selecting one, that I have the other two listed - somewhere. I'm hoping that someone who has already completed the BLS PM & IS can explain whether I would need to provide additional/specific instruction to the advisor or registrar to do so since I was expressly told today I could not have multiple (with no detail provided about primary/secondary). I don't know that I've ever read anyone in the forum refer to PM & IS with "primary/secondary" but perhaps I can search that language here.

The authority they’re following is the catalog. Here’s the current catalog page for the BLS. Your advisor needs to enter one and only one minor to the fill-in-the-blank plan shown on that page.
Once you’re enrolled in the BLS, you should be able to add additional minors in a separate transaction.

The BLS has never been allowed as a second bachelor's degree at UMPI.

It's called a minor in Project Management not PM & IS which is a concentration. You can have multiple minors but you need to give your academic success coach the UMPI catalog names for the minor such as Project Management.
