Dear Ryoder,
I have been a lurker (learning from others) member for the past couple of years and never had a reason to post until today. I have learned SO much from your awesome advice, and apparently from your pappy's too. Thank God for both of you.
I really wanted to add my prayers and support to you and your family in this difficult time; we can all feel your pain in your posts and are heartbroken for you. There are alot of members like me that visit everyday and never post and who know you are one of the biggest inspirations to us on this board.
Hang in there and know that prayer changes things and you have tonnnnnnnnnssssssss of our prayers for your pappy, ones you will never even know about.
God bless you and your family and keep us all updated please.

Both you and your pap are in my thoughts and prayers. You are strong, and I bet he is, too. I know that both of you will be strong enough to face this. Let me know if there's anything that I can do to help.

Yes he is out of surgery now and is recovering well. He has his sense of humor back and is able to make cell phone calls. He no longer has tubes in his lungs and nose which is a relief. The worst is over it seems
Thank you guys so much for your support!
Now it is a long path to recovery, but there is no immediate danger.
