It is irrelevant if the Educational entity is not listed in the Swiss Ministry. You can finish it but as stated the question of recognizing the qualifications on the labor market is questionable to say the least. You need to list your degree for the verification process for each country you wish to use the degree.

Read more about this on;

https://single-market-economy.ec.europa....ractice_en <<Recognition professional qualifications

In EU and mostly in the World it is reliant on the so called ENIC-NARIC body which is using the highest government bodies to check on degrees and most employers look to it. So the outcome is going to be if SSBM Geneva is listed ;

https://www.swissuniversities.ch/en/topi...stitutions << Accredited Swiss higher education institutions

If not they (Swiss School of Business and Management) turn up on these type of news article;

https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/business/sw...s/47786510 <<Swiss private universities issuing unrecognised degrees from back in 16.11.2022.

Which promoted action and why alot of the Schools went with the AAQ accreditation recently in Switzerland, Swiss Business School, IMD, Swiss UMEF in 2022. All new entries in the AAQ. And if the article seems to suggest the last date was 01.01.2023. remains to be seen what and how the State/Canton will act.

Greetings,

I consider it my duty to share my real experience with SSBM, aiming to help future applicants make informed enrollment decisions. In 2022, I enrolled in the MBA program at the Geneva campus. Regrettably, due to the war in Ukraine, a travel ban from Ukraine on males was instituted. My admission process, contract signing, and the initial tuition payment were completed prior to this ban. Naturally, force majeure circumstances occurred, preventing me from coming to study in Geneva, and of course, I warned SSBM about this situation in advance.

Subsequently, I approached SSBM with the request for a refund for the education that, in my case, hadn't even begun. This stage left me very disappointed with SSBM's approach. While according to the contract SSBM may refund in my case, SSBM consistently found varied reasons to deny me, often failing to provide any substantial argumentation and neglecting to respond to my emails and reminders for weeks on end. The responses I received lacked any supporting rationale. The responses were without any argumentation, and it seemed like nobody was seriously addressing my questions; they were just responding in any way to get rid of me.

It's worth noting that I sent multiple appeals directly to the dean of the Geneva campus. Sadly, I received NO RESPONSE TO ANY OF MY EMAILS. All of this says a lot about the level of the business school, its approach to students, and from this experience, you can draw conclusions about what to expect during the study.

I didn't expect sympathy from SSBM representatives, but I did anticipate a professional approach and at least an attempt to resolve this issue considering the real circumstances that had arisen. Taking into account the level of communication, ignorance, and complete unwillingness to consider my case in essence and find a solution – I was simply disappointed and frankly shocked by such an approach. A respectable business school would not allow such conduct. The cost of the issue – 875 EUR, which the business school values more than its own reputation. To clarify – the business school decided to retain this fee for a service that was never provided.

My tuition was never refunded. Eventually, I ceased all communication with SSBM. The sole benefit I see in this situation is the opportunity to communicate this experience to prospective students.

I am so sorry for your experience. I almost got in the same boat but thank the algoritham it recommended my google search the original degreeinfo post about SSBM.

I've spoken a year ago with the guys who made these posts;

In hindsight you can find a lawyer to fight your case. A lot of people think just cause they signed a contract everything in it is enforceable, NO! It comes to the Judge/Court to make that decision. There are also technicalities if you signed it Online or in Person etc etc.

Also here a bit that might interest you;

2.4 Swiss Unfair Competition Act and Swiss Criminal Code
Swiss Criminal Code

If the offender acts for commercial gain, he is liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding ten years or to a monetary penalty of not less than 90 daily penalty units.

Art. 151 Maliciously causing financial loss to another

Again thank you for sharing this info and the best thing would be contacting the people from Geneva Observer or RTS Swiss who wrote the original articles about dilpoma mills in Switzerland to share your story, or even contact people from your batch.
