Is there a good college that has classes based on going at your own pace, like straighter line. I'm wanting to take classes at a 2nd college but need it to be self paced so if I can get it done before a 8week period or have to take longer I won't be punished. Because my schedual gets crazy sometimes. And if I can knock out a course in a weekend even better.

Penn Foster would probably be your best bet. All material is mailed to you and tests are taken online, with some finals to be proctored by anyone not related and with AS degree minimum.

Colorado State Pueblo has a pretty extensive list of courses, many at the 300-400 level. If you do a search there are three classes I reviewed form last semester.
Brigham Young has a similiar program.
Louisianna State has several as well
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010
I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Careful, Penn Foster isn't regionally accredited, so there will be transfer barriers at most colleges.
TESC has several self paced (sort of) options, maybe someone else can chime in on those. I think they are called ePack or something? They essentially only have end dates, no due dates- just everything due by the end. That might work for you?

ffdpsoldier, you've started a number of threads and seem to be pretty confused. The first thing you need to decide is what sort of career path you want, both inside and, especially, outside of the military, and then consider the credential(s) you will need. There are plenty of people on this forum who can give you solid advice, but you diminish the value of that advice if you don't know what to do with it.

True, however many, if not most of PFC's courses have been ACE reviewed and are accepted at Excelsior College.

Hi ffdp, definitely going to have to second Yenisei's sentiment on the information cycle you're running with, right now. All the posts are a bit confusing.
It would probably be a good idea to keep all your questions, thoughts and ideas in one thread. That way, not only can you keep track of all the answers you get, but anyone else in a similar position might see that your experience anticipated their own progress. The thread would still be highly visible and receive the appropriate attention.
I am certain that there are far more people actively pursuing and completing self-administered study that use the forum than make regular (or any) posts. You only have to look at the active membership of Instantcert to see the results rolling in. The one-time posters doing their amazing "I'm done" posts which come out of nowhere are excellent, too. Keeping information together makes it easier for all the people doing their own research when searching the forum.
Being able to handle our own administration is a key requirement to successful progress. A big motivation of the self-study route is that an individual can go and find out what they need to do, find something that fits the slot, do it, then move on to the next problem. Most of the more successful graduates which have done the trail-blazing around here clearly spent hours familiarising themselves with various college and funding policies in order to achieve their personal intent.
Apologies if this comes across as preachy, but this forum has been such a goldmine of useful information and has attracted some genuinely interesting and hard-working individuals which have been a real inspiration to me. I guess I'd just like this resource to continue for anyone else in the future.
We've had a few strange types pass through recently. Sort of characters who are more interested in the idea of something than actually getting on and doing it. I appreciate you've already completed some work and wish you all the best in the future.

This might be an ignorant question on my part, but is ANYONE even offering space studies anymore considering that the plug was just pulled? Maybe you could work in Russia?

Most of these jobs are going to be in the private sector now. There are several companies, Virgin Galactic, Orbital.
