I'm quick to congratulate ALL our members when they appear publicly acknowledging their accomplishments- including Ransomsoul, which I also did on my LinkedIn account and Facebook page.

Thank you Cookderosa!
Received the mag yesterday and it was cool to see the shout out for passit1. Interesting how for most on this group, we have a much stronger Alumni within this forum family than what we get from attending one of the Big 3.

I don't know what you're responding to. I think you misunderstood my post. I was simply correcting Ransomsoul's assumption.

Even if you add up my 6 months or so of lurking prior to creating an account, I don't count as a non-new member

I think if someone makes it past a year or two, that's really great. For those who stay after they've earned their degree(s) like us, well, maybe there's a better word for that lol <crazy>?
EDIT to add: I'm coming up on 10 years this spring...what they heck!?!

10 Years is pretty awesome. Would have been interesting to be on in my early 30s with this forum on how it would have impacted some family decisions. I am sure we would have used a lot of these resources to home school our kids at some point and that would have enabled us to travel more to Germany. Our consolation prize has been SoCal beach time so all worked out okay

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
