the tuition has a serious jump once u go from
part time 6 credits to full time 7 credits..
Hours 6
Tuition 702.00
Hours 7
Tuition 3,507.00
Nice find there. I didn't notice that huge jump. The good thing is they offer summer courses as well, so it wouldn't slow down the process too much.
6 credits in spring
6 credits in summer
6 credits in fall
18 credits per year
36 credits in two years (Master's Degree.)
The wikipedia article on this school states that they have won numerous awards for educational excellence and are highly regarded.
I also like the flexibility of their Master's program. Getting two concentrations might allow me to double up in a liberal studies (English or Psych or Writing) and then grab an education degree (nice to have in my pocket). I'd have to check with the state board of education, but that sounds like a nice little option.
Right now WNMU is the runaway winner for me.
75 credits in four months using InstantCert.
B.S. Liberal Arts, Excelsior College,
cum laude.
Plus, one Washington Post blurb
here.

Northcentral has an MEd with many specializations that is pretty reasonable at $15,100 for the 10 course degree. It can be completed in a year or less if you move fast.

Best kept secret and not limited to Liberty.
Tuition Exchange| Career Institution| College Tuition Exchange Program There is a list of over 600 colleges/universities that have the same or similar deal. My husband is up for a job with one on the list, and if hired, all 4 of our kids and I will get a free BA/BS from anywhere, and his MA will be reimbursed at 90%. Any full time position works, even mopping floors. Just sayin...
